Dr. Lukas Reinhardt

Dr. Lukas Reinhardt is co-founder and Head of Intelligence at AeroVigil, where he leads the company's intelligence methodology and sets the standards that govern analyst review and assessment quality. A German researcher by training, he previously served at the NATO Science & Technology Organization, where he led a risk analysis team and worked on applied approaches to threat and safety evaluation. He holds a PhD and has authored published work in his field.

At AeroVigil, Reinhardt is responsible for how raw signals become defensible, decision-grade intelligence. He designs the analytical frameworks behind the platform's risk assessments, defines the disposition and review processes that keep analyst judgment consistent and auditable, and ensures that every published brief and forecast can be traced back to its sources. His focus is on rigor and restraint: surfacing what is genuinely actionable for aviation security and safety teams while keeping the bar for evidence high.
